Hospitals: seismic standards.

Existing law, the Alfred E. Alquist Hospital Facilities Seismic Safety Act of 1983, establishes, under the jurisdiction of the Department of Health Care Access and Information, a program of seismic safety building standards for certain hospitals. Existing law requires the department to review and approve seismic evaluation reports, compliance schedules, and construction documents, as specified, for the purposes of the act. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this provision.
