  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps
  • Device information: browser type, operating system, screen resolution
  • Cookies: session cookies to keep you logged in (see Section 6)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and improve the Platform
  • To verify your voter registration status
  • To display your public profile (subject to your privacy settings)
  • To send transactional emails (verification, password reset)
  • To generate aggregate, anonymized statistics (e.g., "412 verified voters support this campaign")
  • To enforce our Terms of Service

3. Voter Verification Data

Your voter verification data receives special protection:

  • It is used solely to confirm your voter registration against publicly available voter rolls
  • Your street address is never displayed to other users
  • Your real name is hidden by default — you choose whether to display it
  • Verification status (verified/unverified) may be shown on your profile, but the underlying data is not
  • We do not sell or share your voter verification data with any third party

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited circumstances:

  • Public profile: information you choose to make public through your privacy settings
  • Aggregate data: anonymized, aggregate statistics about platform activity
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, or court order
  • Service providers: trusted vendors who help operate the Platform (hosting, email delivery), bound by confidentiality agreements

5. Your Privacy Controls

You control what others see on your profile through Settings > Privacy:

  • Show real name: off by default — only your username is visible
  • Show bio: on by default
  • Show location: on by default
  • Show engagement stats: on by default
  • Show blocs: on by default

6. Cookies & Tracking
