Prior political experience

The district was redrawn by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court after it threw out the previous congressional map as an unconstitutional partisan Republican gerrymander. She took the Democratic nomination unopposed in 2018. In 2020, she was reelected with over 56% of the vote against John Emmons. In 2022, after an uncontested primary, she won reelection with over 58% against Guy Ciarrocchi. In 2024, she ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and won the general election with 56% against Neil Young Jr.
