Overview

Clay Fuller is a Republican U.S. Representative for Georgia's 14th congressional district, serving since April 2026. Born in Texas and raised in North Georgia, Fuller is an attorney with military experience in the Air Force and Georgia Air National Guard. He previously served as District Attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit from 2023 to 2026. Fuller was elected in a special election to succeed Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Career

Fuller served as District Attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit and worked as an Air Force Judge Advocate General from 2010 to 2014. He was selected as a White House Fellow from 2018 to 2019, working in the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Defense. He holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Georgia Air National Guard and received the Office of the Secretary of Defense's Award for Outstanding Achievement. In April 2026, he won a special election to the U.S. House of Representatives with an endorsement from President Donald Trump.

Prior political experience

Fuller was first elected to Congress in a special election on April 7, 2026, when he defeated Democratic challenger Shawn Harris in the race for Georgia's 14th congressional district. He ran with an endorsement from President Donald Trump to fill the seat vacated by Marjorie Taylor Greene's resignation.
