Overview

Kat Cammack is a Republican U.S. Representative from Florida's 3rd Congressional District, serving since 2021. Born in Denver, Colorado in 1988, she worked as deputy chief of staff to her predecessor Ted Yoho before running for his seat. She studied international relations and national defense, and her interest in politics was sparked by her family's experience with federal housing programs. Her district covers twelve counties in North Central Florida.

Career

Cammack has championed first responder support, agricultural priorities, and regulatory reform. Her sponsored bills include measures to improve equipment access for first responders, protect organ transplant patients, modernize healthcare for women, support farmers, and enhance blockchain adoption. She co-chairs the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus and has been a vocal advocate for term limits. She secured reelection in 2022 with 62.5% of the vote, demonstrating strong support in her district.
